Email Notifications Restored: Our vendor resolved a temporary issue that had prevented email notifications from being sent to users' contact email addresses. The service has been restarted, and users are now receiving bundled email notifications when new Alerts messages are available. One email may include multiple messages, depending on volume.
Webmail Access Still Under Review: Our vendor continues to investigate the Webmail loading issue to identify the root cause. Some users may still experience session expiration errors. To improve access:

Rochester RHIO was featured as part of a scholarly literature review in a recent issue of JAMIA (Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association) called, "The benefits of health information exchange: an updated systematic review."
The study found that health information exchanges improve patient care and reduce costs. Forty percent of the analysis was from HIEs in New York. Rochester RHIO represented approximately 9 percent of the analysis. The review found that there were several benefits to health information exchanges such as "fewer duplicated procedures, reduced imaging, lower costs, and improved patient safety."
