9/15/2026: IMPORTANT TRANSITION UPDATE: Rochester RHIO continues to work with HealtheConnections, NYeC, and NYSDOH on transition planning activities. Participants should continue using Rochester RHIO services as they do today. Critical services, including Results Delivery and clinical data access, remain available.
No Action Required for Most Participants
Organizations that have selected Rochester RHIO as their Designated or Additional Health Information Network (HIN) do not need to take any action if they wish to transition to HealtheConnections. Organizations wishing to select a different HIN must submit a HIN election change by October 15, 2026. Organizations that do not make a change by this date will automatically be included in the transition to HealtheConnections.

NEW THIS WEEK: Rochester RHIO is pleased to announce that ALL COVID-19 lab results, regardless of where they are processed, are available in the RHIO Explore clinical query portal. If a patient resides in the 14-county region, then COVID-19 lab results are available in the Explore patient record, even if the results are processed in another region or another state. RHIO receives daily COVID-19 reports from NYSDOH, and each day, Rochester RHIO sends COVID-19 results that are processed in our region to NYSDOH.
In addition, RHIO has COVID-19 Alerting services available for interested participants. RHIO also makes a daily downloadable COVID-19 report available for county health departments through its Provider Portal.
